A New Identity for BRMSTE
BRMSTE is dedicated to building Global Substrate Infrastructure™ on the edge — institutional substrate mining, verifiable on-chain compute, and the Re-Tyre™ circular economy — with the depth, rigor, and ambition required to serve the open lane at global scale.
As our work has evolved, our brand identity has evolved with it. The update reflects both our mission and the BRMSTE we are building today.
Designing for breadth and depth
The brand needed to hold many things at once. It had to be comprehensive enough to span mining pools, circular economy products, governance repos, and edge broadcast surfaces. It had to be cohesive enough to earn trust across audiences. It had to be flexible enough to evolve without losing its identity. And it had to feel rooted in verifiable infrastructure without relying on spectacle for its own sake.
The design process followed this logic. We studied substrate form, edge rhythm, and structure. We looked across fleets, datacentres, on-chain proofs, and everyday visual systems. We paid close attention to how information is presented, how complexity is handled, and how meaning is conveyed without explanation. The goal was to design something that feels natural in its context — familiar, legible, and capable of carrying the scale of what BRMSTE is building.
The vision
Substrate for all on the edge
BRMSTE means institutional substrate — the layer beneath products, proofs, and broadcast surfaces. It carries the idea of wholeness: infrastructure, identity, and judgment aligned on the open lane.
As BRMSTE evolved, it became obvious that our identity needed to do more than look contemporary or polished. It needed to feel like an extension of the same thinking that guides our edge workers and open repos. If our work is about building infrastructure that reflects the world it serves, then the brand had to do the same — grounded, familiar, and modern at the same time, without leaning on nostalgia or spectacle.
The gateway between worlds
After extensive exploration and iteration, one idea consistently brought everything together: the gateway.
A gateway is more than a form. It represents a moment of transition — where two worlds move toward each other. Physical and digital. Operator and edge. What already exists and what is still emerging on the open lane.
The hexagonal gateway in the BRMSTE org mark expresses inclusivity and openness while retaining clarity and discipline. It scales from favicon to fleet banner, from GitHub org profile to Cloudflare edge.
The visual system
The visual system uses a gold-to-emerald spectrum as a foundational language. Instead of relying on fixed color blocks, it operates through continuous transitions in light and tone. These shifts communicate motion, energy, and progression — reflecting how interactions evolve over time on the edge.

The visual system is built on layered construction logic — intricate, multi-layered, and deeply intentional. Each pattern interlocks with another; each layer reveals more meaning. What looks abstract at first gains coherence only when viewed as a whole.
Monogram
Timeless construction, contemporary meaning
The GSI Carbon Collider monogram is formed from counter-rotating beams and geometric discipline — the same underlying principles found in substrate mining and edge judgment. From this repetition emerges a collider form that reflects balance between energy and restraint.
Our visual behavior emphasizes movement and transformation. A gold-to-emerald gradient forms a continuous spectrum rather than a set of discrete blocks. Transitions in light and color express motion, change, and shifting states of interaction. These transitions are not decorative — they function as signals of flow, helping the system feel responsive and alive.
Wordmark
A modern expression
The wordmark is designed as a contemporary expression of BRMSTE. Wider letterforms give it clarity and presence, while balanced proportions and carefully refined curves ensure consistency across contexts. Every detail — from spacing to structure — is tuned to perform reliably across digital products, brand communication, and edge surfaces.
Org mark
The org mark combines the hexagonal gateway with the gold B letterform — the canonical identity for GitHub, coming-soon surfaces, and open-lane broadcast.

Git workers and open-lane surfaces MUST use these HTTPS URLs only.
